Every time I listen to music videos on my s5 via YouTube app it doesn't load after the first video. I use 4g LTE when I'm in the car. First video plays but after that it doesn't load right. Video plays for 2 seconds then loads etc. I have full bars on at&t. Is it the app? It is really pissing me off and I may have to go back to iPhone...

That's a rather drastic reaction.

Well my buddies iPhone YouTube app has no issues with the 4g LTE. Trust me, going back to iPhone is the absolute last thing I want to do

Does it happen on wifi? Is there another android device it could be tested on?

Have you tried accessing youtube from your main browser?

WiFi it seems fine. No other android device ATM. Even when I use a browser it does the same thing

I can never reliably play youtube vids on my home FiOS connection either. I've started wondering whether or not Verizon is throttling Youtube, or if someone at Google hates Verizon. Unless it's just a traffic problem, I dunno.

I have a friend that is a non-stop YouTube viewer person.

He says the first one is okay, then the carrier throttles him back and it is maddening to him.

he can wait a while, and watch another one, but not two in a row.

That's exactly my problem. At least its not just me. Carriers shouldn't be throttling customers.

AT&T was shot at for this at the end of last year but somehow they are dodging it. My S4 was like this and then when I switched to my S5 (same carrier, different plan) it seemed to work. I have that dang mobile share value plan at the 10 GB level. Not sure why that would have worked. Wasn't unlimited before either.

This is a carrier issue I believe. I can play non-stop videos on T-Mobile LTE. Simply click, wait a second or two, and it plays.
