ZTE Blade X Max - Cricket
Its routine at this point and i'm tired of it. I play a video on Youtube and it will go for a period of time before it buffers. Once the buffering ends it resumes the video. The second time it buffers the video cuts out but the audio remains. The soft fix is to load another video and go back to the original. It resumes the video but the buffering still occurs. The video ALWAYS cuts out after the second buffer. Sometimes it happens every 2 minutes, sometimes every 10 minutes, but it always happens.
It only happens when connected to wifi. I've cleared the Youtube cache, restarted the phone, deleted all unnecessary apps yet the problem persists. Someone said uninstall DFNDR but that did nothing.
The same thing happens with the podcast app. It just stops sometimes. Half an hour in and the audio cuts off and I have to do the same thing where I load another podcast and go back to the original. Twitch also does the exact same thing but way more frequently. The video cuts out so I load another stream and go back and that temporarily fixes it. I have never had this happen with Netflix tho.
I know this has been asked before, and I apologize, but the other similar threads have not helped me.
One thing I have noticed is that when I click on a Youtube video and it brings up the UI, the video zooms in just slightly and then it buffers and the routine begins again. However, when I never touch my phone to pause the video or rewind it or see how much time is left the video almost never seems to buffer. So the only way to avoid this bug is to not change the volume, bring up the UI, don't change the orientation, and just don't touch the phone.
