Hello,

If there is an image in Telegram or Whatsapp, the area/info at the sides are not seen before you press on the image to enlarge it, I need to press the image to enlarge it to see the whole image,

Q1. In Telegram before you press the image to enlarge it, does the image show more area/info in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 than in Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra?

Q2. In Whatsapp before you press the image to enlarge it, does the image show more area/info in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 than in Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra?

Nope. This (annoying) change was made ages ago to these apps and now only show the entire images only after downloading/enlarging them.

For example, if I open an excel file in both phones without scrolling down/right, in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 would I be able to see more excel rows/columns than Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, or would both phones be displaying the same amount of rows/columns except that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 shows an enlarged version of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra?

The Fold 6 can show more content in a lot of apps , if you go to settings>screen>screen layout multi view
It's like a tablet

I am looking for phones that can show the hidden side areas of the images in Whatsapp and Telegram before pressing the image to enlarge it so I do not need to press the images to enlarge it to read all the image info, by default when an image received in the conversation messages it shows only the middle area of the image (before you press the image to enlarge it to show whole image).

I can't compare WhatsApp I have it only on my Fold 6 not my s24u
Fold 6 shows more information because you can see the chat thread also your groups at the same time , if you go to a website in Chrome it shows more content if you see the hockey site on top by the banner

Can you try these steps below to see if you see the same image like my left image or do you see more areas than mine?

In Fold 6 telegram search bar search for @smokefoodcorner press it and scroll to August 12 (as seen in my screenshot) and let me know what you see.

My screenshot left image is what I see in the conversation, right image is after pressing the image in conversation to enlarge it to show entire image.

I am using A32 5G, my purpose is to compare if Fold 6 will see more image area before pressing it to show entire image. Thanks.

Yeah split mode like tablet mode so wasn't using it and this screenshot is not split mode

I mean you scroll down a bit more then do a screenshot.

You see my screenshot I have drawn a red rectangle area that is missing from your screenshot, it is unlikely that you are seeing lesser image area using Fold 6 than my smaller phone A32 5G.

Can you show me the top part that is cut off (not seen) in your screenshot that you posted?

It is weird that Telegram on a larger phone Fold 6 displayed lesser image area/info than a smaller phone A32 5G, maybe you can try different modes/settings to try if you can see the missing areas. Before this experiment I was actually assuming that changing to a larger phone could display more Telegram image area before pressing to enlarge the image but I was wrong.

After pressing the image, the entire whole image is the same size as seen in Fold 6 and A32 5G.
