Z Fold5 Pre-order, spec's, launch date

Samsung have finally announced the details for the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5.

Launch date is 11th August but those pre-ordering could receive them as early as the 4th August.

Not too much difference in spec's from the Fold4. See the differences, here...

Not too much difference in price for those pre-ordering as 512GB storage is being offered for the price of 256GB = £1,749.00p

I would have called it the "Z Fold 4: slightly thinner hinge edition". Unpacked was incredibly dissapointing this year. I actually wish I was American so I could have been sleeping through it haha.

To be honest, there is not a great deal of difference between the Fold4 and the Fold5 and I think that next year will be a threeway fight and decisions between the Google Pixel 2, the OnePlus V Fold 2 and the Samsung Z Fold6. Just needs a year for the first two to iron out the wrinkles.

I agree the competition will be big next year , im holding on to my Fold 4 see whats next year , but did get the pixel Fold so im content at the moment lol

Out of interest, what persuaded you to upgrade? Feels very much like giving them £1100 plus your Fold 4 just to have them send you basically the same phone back... which is becoming a trend.
