Z3 Compact locked ?

How can i tell if my Z3 is locked.
I want to visit another country, buy a pay as you go sim card there at the airport.

Where did you get it from? Was it originally from a carrier, or did you get it unlocked from some non-carrier-affiliated store?

I got it on contract from a carrier Vodacom. I have inquired at them about this and they said that they dont lock phones, in fact its against the law in SA.

If it's not carrier-locked, then you should be able to use it on any network that uses the same bands that your phone supports.
