Z3 - Music play app questions????

Hi,

Still finding my way around this phone, ive imported music across from my itunes playlist but when i got into the stock music app and in my albums they are now only listed and playable in alphanetical order - they are not in the order of the original album?

Is there any way around this?

Also....

I can't find the option (if there is) to play an album fully.. i.e. you have to click on a song in the album to start the album playing, is there not an option just to "play all songs"?

I manually drew all my old iPod songs onto my desktop and converted them to mp3 first, and have had no issues with the order, so not sure why that is. The only suggestion I have is to hit the 3 dots, top right, when in the Walkman app, and select 'Download music info'. This gets the album art work, artist cover photo, album year and so on. It can take some time if you have plenty of music, so I did it overnight on charge.

So far as playing an album, you do have to hit the first song to start it.

Having said all of that, it has a lot more features that are useful too, once you find your way around it. My iPod died with 7000+ songs on it, and now I have them on my Z3 SD card and it's been good.

FWIW you don't need to convert to mp3 (which means compressing a second time, not good for quality) - my Z3 plays iTunes AAC just fine.

Very true, but my point was more of offering a possible solution to the song ordering issue that the OP mentioned. It may not work, but as I converted mine to MP3, and they're fine, maybe it will...

Yeah thanks for the help, will try that or use a different app to sync my tunes. I was using Sony's PC companion to upload the music which is why i think the alphabetical sorting has happened
