Zagg Full Body Skin

I've ordered the Zagg full Body skin for my Flyer and should receive it in a couple of days. Has anyone installed one of these yet? I'm a little concerned about a wet install on the back of the Flyer as there seems to be numerous spots where water could enter the device. You've got the speakers and both areas where the white plastic meets the metal back.

I've installed several Best Skins Ever on iphones ands ipads and have never had an issue, but those seem to have less entry points for water on the back.

Any feedback on my concerns would be appreciated.

I bought the regular Zagg screen protector and it was pretty awful with the pen--too much resistance. Not sure how it compares to what you are getting.

Mine will be the same except it will have coverage on the back also. I don't have the pen and don't plan on getting one, so that won't be an issue for me. I don't like the Zagg/Best Skins Ever type screen protectors either, but there aren't many alternatives at this point. I wish Power Support would make a screen protector for the Flyer. They are great on the iPad and iPhone.

It's the same material. As I mentioned in another thread/reply to your post I have the zagg and use it with the pen without issues.

I would just be careful not to use too much of the spray and squeegie the water away from any openings.

I'm returning the Zagg I had purchased with my Flyer, I remembered the squishy feeling the one on my NexOne had. I just ordered 3 screen protectors AND a clear ThermoPolyResin cover for the back, from Hand Held Items for less than what Best Buy charged for the one Zagg!

I was going to order one of those TPU cases from that site also. Sometimes those things fold up the edges of the screen protector, so hopefully that will work out. I may order the TPU anyway, but I'd like to keep mine as thin and light as possible.

I ordered the clear TPU case from handhelditems.com and it arrived today. Not all that great in my opinion. The fit is real loose on the sides when holding it in portrait mode. Good thing is it definitely will work ok with any screen protector as the edges don't touch the screen. Gonna go with the Zagg full body skin when it arrives.

Sucks to hear that about the TPU case -- I ordered the same one from HandheldItems as well, though I'm mostly just using it as a stop-gap until the book-style case I ordered from Expansys comes in stock.

Just got my Zagg in tonight and attempted an install. What a complete piece of crap. First of all, the film would not come off the paper backing. I eventually got them off using tape. None of the pieces fit properly. On the camera, I got the camera lined up, and the film did not extend to the edges. Next, the film for the plastic piece on that covers the SD card was not even close to being the right size. I've installed several Best Skins Ever and have never had these problems. Plus, the BSE runs about half the cost of the Zagg. Will be requesting a refund tomorrow. Did they even test these things before they sent them out?
