Zenwatch 2 notifications

[AC Question]

just bought the Zenwatch 2 and i'm not getting notifications on texts and emails. how do I fix this ?

Welcome to Android Central! Open your Android Wear app on your phone, tap the gear icon at the top, then tap Block App Notifications. Is anything blocked?

I can't remember if the ZenWatch Manager app has any settings related to this--make sure you check there as well.

What are you using for SMS/MMS and email apps?

Using the native SMS/MMS app on my Moto G, and K9 Mail, I get both. Didn't have to do anything special. (Tho I blocked K9 Mail on the watch. I get way too much email--much of it spam.)

ETA: I also got notifications from Signal - Private Messaging, for the short time I had it installed.

2: what apps are you trying to use
3: what apps do you have installed for the watch (zen app or android wear or both)
