ZenWatch 3 lack of availability

Has anyone come across any explanation of the lack of availability of these? It's been almost a month since it was released, and they are perpetually out of stock everywhere. If it was the iWatch it would be on the national news. But for the ZenWatch 3, crickets.

I understand your frustration! I've had mine since Nov. 20th and love it! I got mine off Amazon and check there periodically to see if they're available. They come back every few days, but get purchased immediately! It would be nice if you could just "get in line" with Amazon and then get the next one that comes in! You might check there frequently and maybe you'll get lucky.

I've also checked the Asus website from time to time, and have never seen it for sale there at all.

I feel your pain! I'd sure be going nuts if I wanted one and couldn't get it! I have a feeling they can't keep up with production.

I had the ZW2 45mm and really liked it, but the ZW3 is definitely an upgrade! It's worth the wait! Hang in there!

I ordered one from B&H that's supposed to ship next week. I had ordered one from Amazon and when it came I found that it was used, even though I ordered new! So I returned that one, and I am currently not speaking to Amazon.

I can't find any rose gold ones, I saw the brown and the silver at best buy but they are sold out now. Has anyone come across the rose gold?

I still can't find one, period. The one I currently have backordered keeps changing the expected ship date. An internet search doesn't reveal anywhere that actually has them in stock. I'm to the point where I don't really even want it anymore. Thanks Asus!

The ZW3 is back in stock at Amazon!! Says it usually takes a few weeks to ship, but SO worth the wait!! Better get yours while you can!

I'm just hoping they ship some bands soon. I want the silicon band so I can 1) not worry about getting the leather band wet and 2) lose those wonky loops that refuse to stay in place.

I have real skinny wrists and use the very last (tightest) hole in the band. I don't have any problems with the loops sliding around, but that would drive me nuts too! I also would like some different bands, so keep hunting for them, nothing so far. I'd like something a bit more feminine, just for a change. I guess they'll eventually come out with some. I had a ZW2 and had about five different bands, which was nice, and they were so easy to change with that quick disconnect. I want that for my ZW3!!

Now that CES is rolling around and Asus is releasing in more areas, perhaps we'll start seeing accessories ship. They haven't even released the other color devices, and so maybe their US really was just a very soft launch to get the ZW3 in the market.

I ordered my ZenWatch 3 from Best Buy and it arrived on 12/24! Awesome watch! I have written to Asus 4 times asking about additional straps, etc. 3 of my emails went unanswered. Here is what I received on my 4th email... Does not make me happy :-(

I've had mine since Christmas Day. I like it. I was after it for some stand alone features so that I don't have to have my phone in my hand constantly.

My biggest issue with it is the straps. I have large wrists, and use the last three holes to manage. I'd prefer something simpler with the straps. But, I'll make due for now.

So I've had a backorder for the gunmetal on B&H (which they just changed the expected ship date from "early January" to "mid-January") for about a month. I recently noticed that they have the silver in stock, so I decided to switch my order to that one. I'm not really a fan of the beige band, but I should be able to get a different color sooner or later. Anyone have the silver version?

Yeah, they did. There's a changelog in another thread. Mine hasn't received the update yet. I guess they're staging the rollout, but I can't imagine there's enough units out there to bother with that.
