I use that extended external battery made by ZeroLemon, basically it's more of a power bank than a battery that replaces the internal battery like in VG 20 or Note 4.
You can recharge the internal battery at will by pushing the button. This is a bit different from other extended batteries where they automatically charge, or get used. This one, you have to turn it on.
They have two sizes, 6300 mAh and 8500 mAh. Disappointingly, there is no 10,000 mAh size for S8+ like they have for Note 4 and LG V20.
