Ok as I said on my intro I am new to Android and as a financial safety I got a cheaper Zio to see if I like it. So far we have a go. Except
On this phone sometimes when it gos to standby or sleep, what ever you want to call it, The phone won't wake wake up. Just a black screen. It seams to be trying to wake up, all the lights come on and the black screen seems to be illuminated.
It doesn't do it when it's plugged in and seams to be more often when I am on the move but has happened a couple times in the house.
It never dose it when it's plugged in.
If I take the battery out and back in it starts up fine
When I told the kid at the store about it he stared and had the same reaction like when you explain a night of passion to a nun. He was just a kid though that had a sales job, so he isn't qualified. It is good that he has a job, I'll give him that.
I would not be real concerned about it but it happens allot and my buddy that also has a Zio dose not have the problem.
It has 2.2.1 and I thought maybe that there was a issue where it didn't load right and Ialso thought maybe it was a memory issue, like I had to many apps on my phone but I have reset the phone to factory and still have the issue with only the factory apps, thus eliminating both those theory's.
Then I thought it was the phone trying to do location stuff and getting hung up because It dose it more often when I am out of my cage. That is still in the theory stage.
Now on here I saw a thread about the Zio needing the SD card to run. I have never removed it but am wondering if the SD card could have an issue.
I am wondering if anyone has had this issue with any phone or maybe has a thought on the issue.
