Zoom disappeared

I went to zoom In while taking a photo, not video, and my zoom options are gone. When I switch to video, they are there. How do I get them back on the photo screen.

Try and clear the cache of your camera app

Ok, found it. You have to go to settings and reset camera settings. That must have happened with the last update.
