ZTE Merit problem

I have a zte merit straight talk phone and have had it about 3 weeks and now when i turn it off or when it comes back on the blue tracfone screen goes crazy and blinks on and off it also does it when i go into my picture gallery the screen goes crazy but everything else works fine any ideas what would cause this?

From what you have mentioned I suspect it might be a software problem. Try to perform a master reset on the device and see if it helps else contact or visit the place from you had purchased the device for further assistance.
