ZTE Quartz watch a good watch?

I'm trying to decide between the ZTE Quartz watch or the Huawei smart watch 1. Any comments on the one I should get. I like the ZTE Quartz because of it having a signal and texting and calling without my phone being around just in case. That's the only thing I like about it that I don't think the Huawei watch can do. Is the Huawei watch still a great watch compared to get now a days. Thanks in advance for any recommendations or opinions on them. They are around the same price on the websites I'm getting them from

Hey, I have ZTE Quartz for about 3 weeks now. Basically, the Quartz was my only option from T-Mobile. I wanted an Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch with cellular connectivity, so I got the Quartz. I really like the styling of the Gear S3 Frontier, but did not want Tizen OS. Here are my thoughts.
1. Great smartwatch for $194.00
2. Immediately switched bands, got a black band similar to the Gear S3 Frontier. The new band really improved the look of the watch.
3. I have my watch paired (same number) with my cell phone using T-Mobile Digits. This is great. I can literally leave my cell phone at home, go to work and still my calls and text messages on the watch.
4. As my first smartwatch, I am satisfied with the purchase. Just wish it came in black.
5. Cellular connectivity is through T-Mobile 3G service, which so far is good enough for the watch. Not like I need LTE to watch Netflix.

NOTE TO ANDROID CENTRAL: Please create a specific ZTE Quartz forum like you have done for all the other Android smartwatches.....

Could you elaborate on your Digits setup? Curious how you were able to get texts and calls to your paired number with you phone at home. Also, I'm almost always on Edge on my Quartz watch, though my area has good HSPA 3G coverage. Have you been able to stay on 3G typically? T-Mo re-provisioned my SIM, which seemed to help for a few hours, then back to Edge. I may end up doing a warranty exchange.
