last few days, my zte android phone is slower and getting into play store is nearly impossible. i tried everything i can think of to make it faster, checking my syncs, deleteing bigger appps that take up too much internal storage, etc. anything i can do? what about updating hardware on phone?

Welcome to Android Central! According to the specs for your phone, it only has 512 MB of internal storage, which is quite a small amount, considering how much storage is typically needed for apps these days. I wonder if Google Play Services might be taking up more space as it evolves into higher versions--this app is pushed to your phone automatically, and is required for proper functioning of the Google Play Store. i had this phone and had the same issues, there is a bad memory issue with this phone. even with no apps on it i only had 94 to 40mb available. the phone crashed and froze daily, after two months i had to replace it. i went with a blu studio 5.3s and use the straight talk byop. sorry to hear about your issues with the phnoe. i called straight talk a number of times also because my phone wouldnt send or receive calls. turns out it wasnt fully supported in my area like they said it was. the battery is awful i contacted straight talk which told me to contact zte about it. apon contacting them i was told to send the battery in for testing it takes 4 to 6 weeks. i asked them what do i do for a phone battery till then and i was told try ebay :/ i personally will never buy zte ever again horrible support and horrible phones
