ok so anyone tried getting ZVH to load using T.E. yet? ive been tring for a week now (ramdomly) to load ZVH using the "how to" but everytime i get to "reboot recovery" it reboots and got stock recovery stock rom but no signal.... i assume its not writing the radio, but the phone info reads ZVH.... tried loading the "update.zip" again, nothing. Still "searching for signal". I'm on the last version of Reborn running w/ Xionia Clockwork recovery. help plz

I'm pretty sure that reborn wont run on ZVH. You will need opti-rom or grom.

:p this i understand, Reborn is what i reverted to, or are you saying i cant run the update through T.E. because i'm still running ZVD? I guess what im asking is can i update from ZVD to ZVH using T.E.?

Do an update profile
tried that but it says no signal "unable to connect to...."

Okay. It may be that the recovery isn't taking from TE and you need to try from a computer. I know I had to flash it a couple of times to get custom recovery to take. I did mine from adb though...

Well if you already got the recovery then u should be able to just flash the update zip

If you "reverted" to Reborn using a nandroid backup, you won't get data working, you still have the ZVH radio. You'd first need to use stock recovery to run the ZVD update.zip to get the ZVD radio, then restore your nandroid backup.

I didn't read all your posts very closely, so I might have missed what exact process you used.

I was suggesting you do this with the stock ZVH rom after you ran the ZVH update.zip to get data working. If you've reverted to Reborn, it won't work, you have a different problem as specified above.

ok so what happened is " i tried to update to ZVH using win7, got everything loaded through ADB, rebooted and i get "no signal" "searching for service", everthing seems to load correctly i have stock recovery , stock rom , but no signal or data of any kind. then i go through all the hassle of reverting to a rooted ZVD and re-install my nandroid.... so thats where i sit...

Did you have stock recovery *before* running the ZVH update.zip? If you used Xionia by turning off signature verification, then it won't flash the ZVH radio, and you would have been left with ZVD radio and ZVH ROM. It doesn't matter if you ended up with stock recovery after the ZVH update.zip. What is important is you had stock recovery before running the ZVH update.zip.

everthing seems to load correctly i have stock recovery , stock rom , but no signal or data of any kind.
At some point, I believe you mentioned running the ZVH update.zip a second time? Did you do that with stock recovery installed? After that, the radio and ROM should have been matched at ZVH and if data didn't work, either update profile or ##786# should have resolved that issue.

then i go through all the hassle of reverting to a rooted ZVD and re-install my nandroid.... so thats where i sit...
If the sequence of events is as you describe here with nothing left out, then at this point, you should have ZVD radio and ZVD rom. If data doesn't work, first thing to try is update profile. If that doesn't work try ##786# reset in dialer. Your data will be erased, so back it up first if you have anything important.
