    i think my original battery is shot. charged it yesterday. it was full when i went to bed,kept my phone off all nite, woke up it was at 50%. anyways i was looking at this here battery. in addition to my original battery, i do have an extended, but im thinking this would be nice to have. what are your thoughts on this battery. do you like it?

    I haven't tried that one, but have been using (and highly recommend) the HTC 1620mAh Rezound battery. It works well in the Thunderbolt and provides at least a couple extra hours of run time. Looks like they're on sale again at Verizon for $19.99 here:

    2 questions. Are batteries covered under warranty and if they are is it worth the hastle of un rooting to get a free battery

    I believe the batteries are covered by a one year warranty (same as phone). Also shouldn't be any concern/need to unroot as it doesn't involve the phone itself.

    It's covered. First they told me it was $10 I told them forget it. Then I called them back and told them id take it for $10 and they gave it to me for free

    I went with the rezound battery. A little more juice without the bulk of an extended battery.
