Has anyone actually checked to see what capacity the Seidio battery reports itself as having? Other batterys that claim to be 1700mAh report themselves, using an app like battery monitor, report themselves as 1350mAh.
I don't remember, but I'm almost positive that it would be 1600. The battery has circuitry that provides capacity information to the phone--the phone has no way of actually measuring the capacity of the battery. So, the battery maker can manipulate the capacity rating that is displayed, regardless of whether or not the battery can actually perform accordingly.

I haven't formally tested any other batteries, but BatteryBoss.org has. You can see how each brand's batteries test compared to the mAh they claim. (Hint: Even name-brand aftermarket batteries have at least 15% less capacity than they claim)
