I got 4 of them to add to my 4 1500's. Now I can go 2 days on my sailboat.
The 1700 last about as long as the 1500's you may get an extra hour or so.
One of my 1700 went bad after a couple of days so if you buy on ebay, don't leave feedback until you have used it.

I had bought a couple of 1700 batteries (cheap no ebay) but they really were about the same as the stock battery. I decided to get the 2750 and I have to say that I love it. Though it adds bulk to the phone, it is not more difficult to carry the phone or use it. The battery definitely has the juice the phone needs to run for an entire day and then some.

LOL.....Thats wild, I use the extended Verizon and get over 24 hrs. of heavy use off one battery(and it has 40% at recharge), if you don't like the looks of it who care your out on a sailboat who can see you.

For the record. I think the extended is awesome. I really enjoyed it, but sold it simple because of issues with it fitting in my car dock and such.

I see people getting like 8-16 hours on the 1400mah battery, that's all I ever wanted. I swear I think my stock battery was bad from the factory never lasted more than 7 hours with all things toned down.

a lot of peeps here are using the extended battery.. so no one cares that it makes it so thick and bulky??? and that you can use a regular case for it ??? i dont get it..

the 3 1500 for 12 bucks seems like a better idea...
