[ROM] [MikRoms] Gingeritis 3D v1.0 Beta VI [07-25-11] New Gingerb
- Chingy and his boys just dropped this over at rootzwiki......No Credit, just wanted to pass the beauty along......not responsible for any phone issues.....happy flashing
[ROM] [MikRoms] Gingeritis 3D v1.0 Beta VI [07-25-11] New Gingerbread Base!07-26-2011 12:16 AMLike 6 - Downloading now. According to the comments over there he's got camcorder audio fixed. That right there is important enough for me to ditch AOSP and CM7 right now. I know it will all get better once there's an official GB build to make ROMs out of, but until then we just have to hope. Here it goes!ssethv likes this.07-26-2011 01:07 AMLike 1

The MR2 radio says its 1.12.605.6
The MR2.5 radio says its 1.68.605.3
The .627 radio says its 1.70.605.0
The new Chingy radio says it 2.07.605.0
I run the same rom as you, but am getting nowhere near that type of battery life (I do run the stock battery). Do you have a link for that radio you are using?
Thank in advance07-26-2011 07:57 PMLike 0 - Fatboy97 what radio is that you are using? I have the MR2, MR2.5, .627, and the new radio that Chingy released on my phone. I checked each one of there to see if any of them matched your's, but none did.

I've never installed a ROM, but here lately I have been wanting to try and this one looks amazing.
For the most part I think I've got it down, as in doing the nandroid backup, wiping cache, flashing, etc.
If I were to install this ROM, are the new radios included, or is that something seperate?
If you could post a link to the radio I would need, if I infact do need one, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Oh and one last question, if I install this rom, and upgrade my radio, that should be about all I have to install right? Or are there some other things that I should install?07-26-2011 08:36 PMLike 0 - Hey guys, I hate to be a noob but I have a question for you all.

Also, on Post #4 of the same thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/thu...tml#post829092 has a link to the Radio's... or just go back to the ROM page and look for Chingy's Radio post.
And the Radio is not included in with the ROM... you need to load your own Radio, but don't need to change each time if you are staying with a Gingerbread ROM... unless you want to try a different one.mikewelch5 likes this.07-26-2011 08:45 PMLike 1 - Interesting short version of how to load a ROM, but you might want to follow: http://forums.androidcentral.com/thu...underbolt.html, which includes wiping device, wiping cache and wiping Dalvik cache.

- The_EngineSuper GeniusSorry, I'm not a Yahoo user.... you might look at some of the posts on [ROM] [MikRoms] Gingeritis 3D v1.0 Beta VI [07-25-11] New Gingerbread Base!... one of developers is usually on here and answers questions fairly regularly.
Now - Anyone know about how to change the transparency in the App Drawer or Notification pull down?07-27-2011 09:09 AMLike 0 - Most ROM's I've used don't have a setting for it, sometimes devs will have a mod that you can flash to switch it to a solid background in the notification/app drawer but there usually isn't a setting so you can change it on the fly.07-27-2011 10:00 AMLike 0
- Looks like User Error. I locked my account when trying to sign in. But the email client doesn't tell you that. It just keeps saying wrong info. Once I logged in from laptop i could set it up.
