Hi Trter,

my question... (which can probably be answered for many besides myself :)

I'd like to root my wife's bolt, is it advisable to defer the new official update for her phone?
Or will the tool work regardless of the official version she's on?

(Although hearing how easy you've made it to use, I've never used the tool. I've always heard of your all in one tool here as well as other forums.
when mine got rooted, your all in one wasn't yet out, or I hadn't known of it.)

I'd like to flash Santod's new Unsense rom for her too. :-D

Im trying to unroot my phone. It says failed and to check to make sure stay awake is enabled and charge only.

Well when I put it on charge only and hit retry it says no disk?

Is there an SD card in?

Thanks man, I'll keep deferring it and attempt to root with your all-in-one it while on GB, although I'm sure it will be eventually be able to be done on ics too :-D

Well that was quick :-(
Speaking of the devil - phone updated to ics overnight on its own!
Wife's device will have to wait, but at least she can play around and get used to ics in mean time.
Because re were asleep, no one could defer it, should have turned data off, oh well, going to stay tuned here.

I finally got tired of Tbolt giving me problems and was ready to wipe it and root to ICS this weekend but f'n phone upgraded on it's own overnight and didn't wait for me to defer or reject. Now I hope there is someone still out there that will spend some time on a 2 year old phone to exploit the new hboot. Not holding my breath. And now w/ the new ICS, my phone is taking forever loading my text messages.

Does anyone know if anyone is working on a root method for the new update? I messed up and stock'd the phone then did OTA update instead of running SANTOD's method

Awesome! Will this be without having to contact HTC for unlocking bootloader or will that be incorporated in the tool (Saw Lt. Belspur's post on infected)

I emailed logs to you. Thanks for all you do.

Currently, it just keeps saying updating. Logs look like they can't find the ThunderboltTool.bat file on your web host.

Thanks!
