Slow upload speeds after root

So I rooted, and my download speeds are decent 500-700 kbps in this area usually, but im getting dial up like upload speeeds, around 56k. Also my 4g download is fine getting blazing fast 15mbps, however im no longer seeing an insane buffeer on speed test. I'm getting around 3 mbps, instead of the usual 20+.


Anyone else experiencing issues with 3g after root? I used the ADB method found on this site

I dont have a 4g verison phone, but I once flashed a build prop that had; stagefright, hardware accel..., and jit. This made my phone slow so then I flash a biuld prop without stagefright, and my data speeds went back to normal.

2 months later I flash the same bilud prop, and its not slowing down my device.

I am,not sure what cause this, so I am just sharing my experience.

But it could have been a currputrd file or something

What are you using to speed test? I ask because after rooting using the same method the speed test.net app will not work on my phone and sometimes causes a reboot. But when I use speakeasy.net/speedtest I'm getting proper up and down speeds.

Using speedtest.net
I believe the problem was in my work area, as soon as I got home, i was pulling in close to 2 megs down and 700kbps down
