thunderbolt defect

I just called in my thunderbolt having two really small spots of light sometimes turns red depends how you hold the phone in the background, only can tell if the background is dark black other than that it is hardly noticeable, I just wanted to know will vzw sent me back a new one or recertified one? It has been over 14 days when I got it, received on the launch date. Any one having this issue

You should get a new one within 30 days.

how can you tell if its recertified or new , just successfully unrooted my phone and formated sd card, Is there any way they can find it was rooted before?

If its a refurbished unit they will just send the phone. Of its new they will send the entire kit as if you purchased in the store.

Any Manufacturers defect can be replaced with a NEW working unit VIA VZW Authorized Tech Store within the first year of purchase. Only time they will not cover in-store is from physical abuse (ie broken screen or signs of abuse).
