    Just curious if the new update gets rid of the old crappy file system that samsung likes to use and replaces it with the speedy one.

    ^^^ this. I believe samsung started using the ext4 file system on the SGS2. Not sure they would push that kind of a change in an update

    My phone is a lot more responsive either way, I don't think I'd even bother with voodoo at this point.

    Just remember EXT4 and voodoo are actually two different things. I also wouldn't bother with with voodoo with how much better this GB update seems to be running. But converting to EXT4 file sytem?- You bet.
