    just got off phone from Verizon. samsung Charge will get ota update on the 9th of june 2011no info, if will be extending free trial and no present day for GingerBread Software. aaahhh

    Huh? The hotspot was free, had a hiccup and Verizon is doing the right thing and giving another month. Seeing as this is a brand new phone on a new network I think they are dealing with things quite well.

    I also had a storm so anything is better than how they handled that.

    Guess I'm kinda sore because I went into a store and the lady behind the counter did a hard reset before she informed me of this so I had to reset my "bozillion" email accounts and enterprise server. Wish I had spoken to you first.

    BTW my first charge died after 3 days and I had to swap it. Luck of the draw!.

    Yea, the rep at my store went and did the update without asking but it wasn't the end of the world. I'd be quite miffed if they went and did a hard reset and blew everything away without asking.

    Is it just me or does the mobile hotspot seem to be pretty flakey. I've it working just fine but, even when at full bars, the 4G internet connection seems to stop working every 10 minutes or so, has to disconnect and reconnect. (This isn't a wi-fi issue; I can see it happening on the phone; the 4G data connection completely drops, then reconnects, causing me to lose internet connectivity for about 2 minutes every 10.)
