Hello all, sorry if im coming off as a noobie, but i need some serious help

I accidently deleted the "scard" folder within my DNA and it seems to have wiped absolutely everything from my phone like pictures, vids, and other stuff like gaming roms. I didn't panic at first because i knew i could download a data recovery program and have it scan and recover.

The first one i tried, it didnt find my device.
The second one i downloaded, same thing occured.
The third time i noticed a strange recurring theme going on, it was in fact because i believe that my phone isnt listed under a "removable storage" and instead as "Portable Devices" that the programs can't scan my DNA.

I can browse through my device with it being under "Portable Device" as i've always been able to drag and drop music and pictures and files this way, but when trying to recover data, the programs I use can't find my DNA.

Is there a way for it to be visible to these data recovery programs? Is there a way to move the DNA from "Portable Device" to "Removable storage"? Is something wrong?

Thank you all for the time and help

If you're rooted and have a custom recovery installed such as CWM or TWRP, you can mount the phone as removable storage through your recovery.

You need a custom recovery to gain root but yes, it might work.
