Looks like they're just waiting for a HTC cooked 4.3 ROM for the DNA. Problem is it takes 1-2 months for VZW to certify new updates first so looks like we'll be waiting til...ThanksGiving.

Right. Typical of HTC. And it won't be what will then be the current 4.4. It won't be what'll then be one version old (4.3). It'll be 4.2.2.

Anybody else starting to feel like panting and tail-wagging dogs waiting to get a scrap from last month's bread?

No one to blame but myself. I've subjected myself to this for 3 phones now. No more.

I should have learned my lesson with the Thunderbolt and its ICS update being pushed back constantly. This will be my last HTC device. Best phone I've ever owned, but I won't let HTC disappoint me again.

Former thunderbolt owner went to a DNA.. I guess I'm just a sucker for punishment. I wouldn't even really care if the update was coming out in December if it weren't for the fact that Verizon posted that an update was coming soon on their website, then took it down, and then push it back indefinitely. Just a terrible way to treat customers.

I agree. If they hadn't said anything about it, I wouldn't have cared, but since they brought it up......

Broken promisses is the big red way. HTC should know Verizon will block updates. They started the hope. I still love this phone. Someday i'll root and go to Kit Kat.
