Bluetooth phone woes

Well it's never been usuable at home using my Motorola or Plantronics headset. Audio streaming in my car was fine through a Motorla speaker phone/Bluetooth to FM thing but phone was still getting complaints from the other end. Got a new Hyundai Sonata with built in Bluetooth and audio is even better not having to go through the FM modulation thing but phone is even worse, static and breaking up. Have loved every thing else about the DNA but suffer not being able to use Bluetooth phone.
