About 6 months ago my DNA started turning off by itself. Twice a day if not more. The only way I could get it to power back on was to plug it in to a wall or Auto charger. I was also getting lousy 4G signals in areas where Verizon is pretty strong. I took it to a Verizon store and they had me do a soft reset but nothing changed. I just decided to wait it out until my upgrade. I cant fork out any money for a warranty claim. Well about 4 weeks ago I was poking around in the Preferred Network area and noticed that my DNA was set to Global. So after a WTH I changed it to LTE/CDMA. Four weeks in and my phone has not turned off on its own. The 4G signals are strong again and the phone seems to operate like it was brand new. I have no idea why my phone was on Global, but why in the hell would Global mode cause my phone to shut down like that. Is it a bug or possibly just a messed up logic board.
