Folders on Incredible 2 won't work after a while

Something I keep noticing is that after my phone has gone on for a while without restart - in this case about 24hrs - the folders won't open anymore. It's like it has just run out of enough steam to open them. Other things work mostly OK, but just not that. Another thing that I just noticed happening at the same time was that in the app drawer, I'm in about G in the alphabet and I go to scroll up, and it just goes black - doesn't display any icons. If I get out and come back, they'll show up. But damn. Little baby gets all tuckered out. Anybody else? What's going on?

I've noticed the samething with the folders. I've had to reboot in order fix the issue.
