I just got an inc2 and am wondering how to back it up?

My last phone (bb) had that pc app that would do a whole system backup, does something like that exist for android?

Thanks!

?

I hate to sound dumb, but I did install that and I only see the option to sync the phone with existing apps, (contacts and bookmarks and playlists and such).

I don't see where I could do a straight backup of the device, am I missing something?

Thanks!

Are you choosing HTC Sync on your phone after it's connected to the USB port?

Start the software, then plug your phone it. When the box on the phone appears select HTC Sync.

sync

yes, I made sure the phone was in the correct mode.

As I said, on the app itself (on the pc) I only seem to see an option to sync with existing apps, not create a backup of the phone like I could with my blackberry.

Thanks!

ok, I see what you are saying now, sorry.

I had a BlackBerry Storm. No, I have not found anything that simulates the BlackBerry Desktop Manager backup feature. You can use the HTC sync to sync your contacts, calendar, and Apps but not for a complete backup.
