I have read the reviews for both of these programs and i am a bit leary of them at this point.

What are others thoughts regarding these two apps? What are some of the issues you've encountered on the droid incredible?

    Thanks

I used handcent a while back and never really saw a reason to go back to it. I've been using go sms for a while now and have never had an issue. On top of that, I like the customizations you can do with it and it seems like it's well supported.

Definitely go with Handcent. It's probably the best sms app in the market.

Another vote for GO SMS Pro. It just works like I want it to.

I use Go SMS. I have used Handsent and it's good, I just prefer Go.

I also prefer go. I have tried Handcent twice and it just feels cluttered in comparison.

I have used both and customized both, tweaked settings to see how it ask worked and honestly I think GO sms is the winner. for me its been faster than handcent and looks cleaner. It does everything I need it to do and I've never had a problem with it. That's my vote.
