VPN guru's step in please!!!!!!

This is a question I never had answered on my Moto Droid. I have VPN setup, and it connects to my work network. On WinMo, I could map a drive to the phone, and have access to all my property info on our network. Is this posible on Android? Any help would be terrific! Thanks guys!

estrongs file manager, ability to connect to lan shares, should work fine so long as you know the internal ip of the remote server and the vpn is connected.

Try the VPN connection over wifi instead of using the 3g, it might make a difference.
I dont have a VPN I can test on right now otherwise I'd help you out.
I know that when I switched to LAN and told it to scan it picked up all smb shares in my home network.
