So when I receive an email with images, i always have to click on the "show images' button inside gmail. it would be nice if it remembered it so that i don't have to click it everytime for the same sender. even better it would be nice if it know which email addresses are safe to show images based on the ones i approved from gmail. anyone know of an app or fix for this?

Which "show images" button are you referring to? The only buttons available to me are "download or preview" down at the bottom of the email. It is annoying having to scroll all the way down to the bottom when there are several pics attached...

He means for embedded images that reference internet URLs. Like an ad from Tigerdirect.com sent to your email. Not attached files.
