Buying things from the Incredible

What's the best way to buy things from the phone. Is it safe to use your credit card info to buy things from amazon etc. should I get some sort of anti-virus app. Is there one already on the Incredible.

It's just as safe as any we browser based transaction. Make sure the connection is HTTPS and you should be fine. Don't waste your time putting an AC scanner on this phone. They cause nothing but performance issues for people, and to my knowledge there aren't any viruses on Android phones yet.

amazon has an app btw which is quite nice

I am pretty sure the amazon is linked with pay pal, which is usually safe.

I used the app called Movies, by Flixster, to buy some movie tickets on my phone the other night. It passed my info through to movietickets.com, and Flixster explicitly states they don't save any of your info.

Seamless, no problems - immensely useful.
