This mail is still on the server driving me crazy

I have an IMAP account, which works fine using any client, on windows, mac, and even the K9 on the droid. The native Mail client on my Droid Incredible on the other hand will not show any message that has an attachment. Just says [This mail is still on the server]. I looked on this forum and others, and see people here and there with the same problem, but nobody seems to have found a solution. Am I alone here with this problem? I really would prefer to use Mail client as opposed to the K9 or anything else.

I have one account set up as IMAP and haven't had this problem.
