Rooted incredible keeps getting OTA update message, help!

I have an incredible rooted with unrevoked running 2.2. I keep getting the install update for new software, which I assume is gingerbread (haven't been keeping up on the phones lately, shame on me...) Should I update to the new software? Can I do this rooted or do I have to unroot first? Can I go back to root if I update? Also, have there been any bugs in the new update?

If you want to continue to be rooted, wait for a rooted version of the update to be released

In layman's terms, it means jailbroken. On a rooted phone, you have access to the internal system files and folders to be able to add, change, or remove anything that you want.
