voip problems

I cannot get either grooveip or tmobile bobsled to work on this phone without breaking up this is using the stock rom. It isn't the signal or anything because in the past I used my Optimus V and it worked perfect. it just don't work for no aparrent reason.

figures i just rooted custom room and it works perfect. Looks like verizon or HTC put some kind of kill switch in for voip softwares. Very petty of them.

What process are you using to get Voip to work?

i rooted my phone and flashed a custom CM7 rom because the ics roms while pretty stable aren't quite there yet.

I am running Nils Gingersense 3.5, but don't know how to make Voip work.
