Deleting emails from exchange

Have recently set my DI to et my work emails through exchange. 1 thing i notice thats bugs me and I hope there is something for it, when i read or delete an email from my DI it does not sync up with Outlook. Its annoying as messages don't get marked as read or delete so I go through them again at work.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

my emails sync between outlook and my DI, so I'm either doing something you're not or your IT settings are different than mine

If i delete in Outlook it syncs with the DI, but not the other way

mine syncs both ways just fine

mine syncs both ways perfectly and I just used the default settings. sounds like it is a setting on the server side.

Any idea what the setting is so i can tell the people on the server side?

Truthfully, only they would be able to figure that one out.
