Annoying issue

ok.On my Incredible...using the compact qwerty keyboard in portrait mode....When I try to type "I'm" the letters like disappear and i cant get out of it.

Neone else having this issue?

I haven't had the problem. Every so often an auto complete will get me, but that happens less and less the more I use the phone.

Just tried it in regular qwerty portrait mode and it doesnt have this issue...hmmm

I don't use the compact qwerty but switched for a moment to see if I could re-create your issue. I could not, it worked as it should when I typed "i'm". Not sure why anybody uses the compact version, guess it is what you are used to.

I can't type the word "if" with the compact keyboard the option it gives me is "i'd"

Could it be a mistaken word saved into the dictionary automatically? maybe you should check the keyboard setting to see if that word got saved somehow. If so, just delete it. I had that happen with a word to me.
