Task killer pin 2.2

I just got my incredible and I love it. I installed advanced task killer and it seems to work just fine. My friend told me you aren't supposed to use task killers on 2.2

Anyone else use task killers. What are some observations.

just delete the task killer, its not needed and will drain the battery faster actually

Oh god here we go again. Yes delete it, It causes more harm than good.

Agreed. The reason task killers exist is to stop applications from running in the backround and sucking memory. This concept was needed before smartphones were the beasts they are today. Two points why they are outdated. 1) The Incredible has plenty of memory to multitask without any serious trouble 2) Froyo has a task killer of sorts baked in. Having one from the market running in the backround is going to shorten your battery life for no good reason...
