Help moving a file.

Ok I downloaded a pdf calendar from the internet and it saved it as a pdf file under downloads. I then created a shortcut for that pdf file on the homescreen using astro, which is what I wanted to do. My question is how can I delete the pdf file from downloads but keep the shortcut? If I delete the file from downloads it also deletes the shortcut and I don't want to do that. Thanks a lot

You will have to have the pdf saved in a file on your sdcard or device to be able to have a shortcut set up. Maybe you should create a file on your sdcard and name it anything you want like "shortcut". To crerate a file navigate to the root of your sdcard and press menu>new>directory>select file name. To move your pdf using astro by long pressing on the pdf and select edit>move>locate the new folder you made>paste. After you move the file then you can set up the shortcut on your home screen.
