So I have been apparently oblivious over time as pictures I have taken have been disappearing from the gallery. I recently went through the internal memory of my DInc and discovered that all the photos were still there (in the DCIM foler if anyone cares) but simply not showing up in the Gallery app. This issue persisted even after resets.

After trying to figure out what was going on for some time, I figured I should just move the whole thing over to my 16GB sd card. 300MB or so later, I fire back up the Gallery app. It takes a couple seconds, maybe a dozen, but the app eventually updates to see all my pictures. I also went into the camera and had it save media to the sd card by default, so hopefully this bug won't jump back up.

Has anyone else seen something familiar?

Are you using the non-stock "fuzzy"* gallery app? I found that could not see internal storage, so I went back to the stock gallery app. I haven't tried the other one in months ago.

*I'm talking about the gallery app that floats as you tilt the phone and seems to be the basis of the new music app.
