    will the Incredible get better signal strength as opposed to the eris. My eris is awful at keeping a signal. Yes I have tried dialing the 228 and updating the roaming, doesn't help.

    one of the reviews i read said that it was showing lower signal strength than the droid, but they weren't sure if it was a hardware or software issue.

    I have no problems with the signal on my Incredible just as with other phones (HTC Ozone, LG dumb phones). I've had on Verizon in my area (NE TN). I have 4/4 bars.

    I have heard mixed reviews. Some say that HTC devices in general have lower reception, but i also read that the incredible was able to pick up a signal in a subway right out of the box. So lets keep our fingers crossed
