EF 3.6 update question

Hi everyone, my phone has been working great so I've been gone for a while. Boy things sure do move fast around here. I am on EF 3.5.1 v1.2, ED01. I thought I would give the 3.6 a try. Do I need the 3.0 cwm for this? Do I need to go back to ota update and start from there? If I do this and things don't work out can I just go to my backup and flash back to what I have now or will I have to start all over.

You can flash 3.6 directly over top of your existing setup, just make sure to wipe data, dalvik and cache. I stuck with 3.5.1 after trying 3.6. No improvements for me, I just liked the previous version better.

cwm all would probably work, but you'd most likely be better off with using cwm 3. You can make a backup prior to flashing ef 3.6, or start over by reflashing ef 3.5.1 if you want to revert. I was on ef 3.6 and went back to ef 3.5.1. They are very different so it comes down to your preference. I feel that I get better battery life with kernel included in ef 3.5.1.

I couldn't agree with you more. My battery life has sucked on anything else but this combo.
