Lower Nenmark scores after OTB1.6

Hi guys, maybe you can help me figure this out here. Lately I have noticed that my phone is not running as smooth as it should when I have my live wall paper on. My current setup is comm rom 2.1 and OTB 1.6 overclocked to 1.2 ghz. When I run my nenamark 1 bench mark I am only getting frame rates in the mid 30-40 range. Before I was able to pull 56 frames per second all day long before OTB. On nenamark 2 I was able to do 23.1. Now I'm stuck in the 19-22 range.

I tried to not undervolt and put it to performance and it made no difference. What do you think is wrong here? Do you think its normal wear and tear on the GPU that happens with age?

Update: I just restored to pre OTB1.6 and my scores went back up to over 50 fps. And the phone actually runs smoother.
