gallery process stopping unexpectedly

this phone, oh this phone. i want to love it. i got the thing rooted, i put on google search, it was awesome. then my dumbass decided that the unlock screen wasnt awesome enough, so i downloaded some lock app which screwed my phone up royally and i had to factory reboot.

funny thing is, now nothing works. i keep getting the following error: "The application Gallery (process com.cooliris.media) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again"

i cant open my gallery, i cant use maps, and every five seconds my phone stops responding and this message comes up. what's a girl to do?

ready to lose all your data that's not on your sdcard?

If so, go to Privacy - Settings - Reset to factory..

That should fix it..

Next time I suggest installing Clockworkmod recovery first, and then doing regular backups, that way you don't have to start from scratch each time something like this happens. It's a PITA, I know.. Sorry!

Thanks for the advice, i'm going to try that tonight. Luckily, i've only had this phone for a couple of weeks so there's nothing major lost.
