As promised, I am releasing the DL09 Odin, now that its official that it is the OTA.

No warranty or guarantee implied, this gets flashed via Odin 1.30 in PDA section (or unzipped and flashed accordingly in heimdall). It is stock, nonrooted, and bloated all to hell. I HAVE NOT TOUCHED THE ROM CONTENTS.

This technically doesn't require root to use, but it does require a user who knows how to perform these more advanced things.

Thanks Adrynalyne, more advanced, is there something more than loading the file through PDA. putting the phone in DL mode and hitting start ?

ok i didnt use z4root in the first place, so is the dl09 ROM you have on XDA the same thing other than you did all the de-bloating for us and it changes kernel?

I made the DL09 rom on xda from this. This is purely stock. I just removed the bootloaders and stuff folks really shouldnt need to be flashing, and certainly won't be seen in the OTA.

I don't suppose there's any chance this fixes the cd drive thing does it? It's driving me nuts - when I went to stock with the all-in-one package I lost root and now I can't get it back.

sideload z4root and you will be able to root that way

Is there any possibility the DL09 you've posted is any different than the DL09 that Verizon is going to push out? That might be a stupid ass question, but just checking.

Also, you deserve it. You've been a tremendous help to those of us with Fascinate's over the last several months.
