Browser force close w 2.5/superdark v3

The stock browser is force closing when I download something in it... The fc happens route when I click on the link but still dls the file everytime for every link I try... I dnt kno if this was a bug before superdark as I tried 2.5 no themed for not 30 min n got the SOD...how can I keep the browser from fc before the dl

there may be stuff that wont work with sc 2.5. try flashing the honeycomb theme.

you prolly wont need to clear cache. but just flash honeycomb over superdark.

Well now lets c how 2.6 goes b.c honeycomb didn't solve the fc after clicking a dl link.... First I wana c if SOD happens on 2.6 before I flash a theme n c if it solves the fc

I'm getting the same FC on 2.5 with super dark and honeycomb... Odd

Got the same event occurring here. No theme installed. Bug.

Same here. Trying to dl sc 2.6 from my phone, fc as soon as I click the link but file does continue to dl but at very slow speeds. Didn't have this issue when I downloaded 2.5

The bug is still on 2.6 also no theme but I haven't had SOD yet w.o a theme on 2.6 (knock on wood)

Found out that you can fix it by flashing or dropping in any EB01 debinged browser. Working great for me. It's an issue that will be fix in the next SC

It does but it force closes when you try to download anything.

Adrynalyne just updated his superclean post with a link to a debinged browser to help with this issue and some EB16 kernels from jt1134 that they feel MIGHT provide a go around for the monitoring bug from Verizon for wifi tethering

Back button in SC 2.5/2.6

Another issue with the SC 2.5/2.6 browser is the back button always exits the browser, instead of going back to the previously loaded page. Flashing the EB01 Debinged Browser fixes this too.

Debinged browser flash solved the issue... I flashed the EB16 non voodoo kernel this morning... The flash went as well as any ither flash but how can i tell it wrked besides recovery saying update complete... Reason im askin is ive tried 2 flash themed mkts recently n flash says all went well.but mkt never was themed

Ya i tried flashing several of 2.3.2 market themes over the current market on SC2.6 with no luck, i think those are only for EB01 build. It looks like we have to wait and see as development continues.

Duh SC 2.6 comes with market 2.3.3 you cant flash themed market 2.3.2 over it

Ahhh ic good eye on that I didn't realize 2.6 had mkt 2.3.3... Still wen I flashed the kernel the kernel numbers didn't change in the about phone so does thst mean It didn't work?
