i dont have time to get into it now but you will need to know how to use adb and commands, if you dont already start here

Did the heimdal flash, and with DX helping me fix the adb, when I enter the commands from the xda thread, it says commands not recognized...

Enter these one at a time...no go

su
mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/stl6 /mnt/.lfs
cp /sdcard/logo.jpg /mnt/.lfs/logo.jpg

any ideas?

worst case, like droid was saying, can use teamviewer or logmein to mount your phone on my pc and run the commands from here

Shoot the instructions in the thread didn't say that. Did you need to do that before entering the commands?
